Materia is a professional AI image platform. We maintain strict content standards to protect our users and the integrity of the service.

All uploaded and generated images are subject to automated content screening. We use moderation systems to detect and block:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content of any kind.
• Content depicting minors in any inappropriate context.
• Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery.
• Content that promotes hate, discrimination, or harm.
• Images that infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

Violations will result in immediate content removal and may lead to account suspension or termination without refund. Illegal content (including child sexual abuse material) will be reported to the relevant authorities.

By using Materia, you confirm that all content you upload is lawful and does not violate these standards.

Images you upload are transmitted to our AI processing pipeline solely for the purpose of completing your requested generation. We do not use your images to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Generated output images are stored on our servers and associated with your account. You may delete them at any time from your dashboard. Images are automatically purged after 90 days of account inactivity.

We share your data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting and storage.
• AI model providers — image generation processing.

All providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely and only as directed by us.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
